Enterprise Seychelles Agency held its first Stakeholder’s Forum on Friday 31st May, 2019 at Savoy Resort & Spa at Beau Vallon. This Forum, which was officially opened by the Vice-President, Mr. Vincent Meriton, was an opportunity for ESA to gather all Government stakeholders and partners in one room to discuss about the new mandate of ESA, compared to that of SEnPA.
The Forum highlighted the necessity for ESA to have its own database to capture information about all Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in one place. Furthermore, the Forum discussed on the various business opportunities that have been put in place for MSMEs including a debate on the roles of other entities who have similar functions as ESA.
The Forum was indeed successful as it achieved its aim of ensuring that all stakeholders and partners understand the new role of ESA in order to work in collaboration from henceforth.
