POST TITLE: DIRECTOR (HUMAN RESOURCES & ADMINISTRATION)

Main Duties and Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  1. Planning, directing and coordinating all activities of human resources.
  2. Responsible for the personnel functions, including the implementation, development and operation of the systems for recruitment, selection and appointment, promotion, compensation, welfare and disciplinary action for all staffs and ensure that they are consistent with the existing policies.
  3. Provide advice and guidance to Heads of Divisions and staff and ensure that they are fully aware of all personnel policies and procedures.
  4. To supervise and manage the Human Resources and Administration section, including all staff.
  5. Liaise, advice and guide the Chief Executive Officer and Deputy Chief Executive Officer in relation to all staff related issues.

 

Entry Requirements:

  1. Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field plus six years post qualifying work experience or two years as Senior Human Resources Officer.
  2. Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field plus seven years post qualifying work experience; or three years as Senior Human Resources Officer; or
  • Diploma in Human Resources Management/Diploma in Management plus eight years post qualifying work experience or four years as Senior Human Resources and Budget Management Officer.
  1. Must be conversant with the Public Service Orders, Employment Legislations, Public Service Salary Act, Pension Laws and other Government policies and frameworks governing terms and conditions of service in the Public Sector.

 

Salary: SB8/SB10 plus Scheme of Service Allowances
