  • To inform about the standards and requirements of “How”, “Why” and “When” to use a mask onboard public transportation during this new normal;
  • To teach and share knowledge in benefit of the finished products;
  • To offer skills to workers or identified groups of people with such needs in effect of the COVID-19 pandemic;
  • To offer re-skilling services to redundant candidates.

The CEO of ESA urged the entrepreneurs to take this opportunity to learn new skills to help with the huge demand for facial masks in Seychelles, in view of the current situation we are facing. The facilitators of the training were Mrs. Brenda Lepathy for the practical sewing training, Mrs. Tina Hoareau to provide the relevant information in regards to the health and safety standards for quality of masks and Mr. Peter Roselie to discuss about the pricing strategy and to give financial tips to the participants.

The training was organized with limited participants in order to comply with health regulations. Any entrepreneurs who wishes to follow this course may contact ESA to submit their interest for the second training.
