A training was conducted on Friday 11th February 2022 by Enterprise Seychelles Agency (ESA) to train potential applicants on how to apply the SeyCCAT grant. This training was conducted as part of ESA’s project funded through the same grant, entitled ‘Entrepreneurship Development in the Blue Economy Sector – Advocate capacity building for MSMEs and ESA staff to sustain, grow and create awareness amongst this evolving sector.’
As part of the training, representatives from SeyCCAT and other private consultants were in attendance to talk about the procedures for application, the application manual, health and safety practices to adopt on the business environment, time management and entrepreneurship development. BGF 6 will be opened in April for potential applicants to seek funding through SeyCCAT to finance their project or business idea in line with the strategic objectives set by the organization.
The participants were awarded with a certificate at the end of the training. Subsequent trainings will be held as follows:
- La Digue on 5th March 2022
- Praslin on 26th March 2022
- Mahe (South region) on 8th April 2022
