Enterprise Seychelles Agency in collaboration with the Seychelles Prison Service partnered together to demolish an old dilapidated toilet which was being used for illicit activities at Ex-Children’s Playground. The work which was carried out by a group of prison inmates was conducted on Saturday 19th March 2022.
This endeavor is a means to clean up ‘hot spots’ within communities and some help was afforded to a citizen who had been squatting within such a structure. Subsequently, the Seychelles Prison Service assisted the citizen to be accepted back at the Night Shelter at North East Point and the inmates took the opportunity to give the gentleman some advice to change his lifestyle. The initiative and goodwill shown by the team and the volunteer inmates was commendable.
