Enterprise Seychelles Agency organized a pitching competition on Wednesday 13th April 2022 at Savoy Resort and Spa. The event was aimed at getting entrepreneurs to think of sustainable businesses and getting them more involved in sustainable practices, in addition to benefitting with expert advice, mentoring and great prizes.
Each participant had 3 and half minutes to pitch their business idea in front of a panel of expert judges and compete against each other to win the top pitcher. The panel of judges included Mr. Andre Weirsig, the Man of the Ocean, Mr. Frank Otto, Founder of German Ocean Foundation, Ms. Felicitas Geiss, CEO of Tourbookers, Mr. Kyle Deboutier, from S4S and Mr. Micheal Nalletamby, the Principal Secretary for the Ministry of Investment, Entrepreneurship and Industry.
The participants won several prizes from Government as well as sponsors from the Mauritius Commercial Bank, Cable and Wireless Seychelles Ltd and Sustainability for Seychelles.
