Enterprise Seychelles Agency celebrated World Entrepreneur’s Day on 21st August, 2019 with an Expo and Exhibition promoting the work of our devoted and talented entrepreneurs in Seychelles. The Agency gave the opportunity to MSMEs to showcase locally made products only.
The CEO of the ESA, Ms. Appoo stated that, ‘World Entrepreneurs’ Day is the day for founders, managers, producers, contractors, industrialists, innovators, administrators, designers and producers to be recognized and valued.’ She stressed that entrepreneurship must also be a priority for the country. Subsequently, two testimonies were given by Mr. Mustafa Bristol and Mrs. Johanna Didon whereby they gave a brief of their career as an entrepreneur and they motivated the audience on how to succeed.
To officially open the Expo, the Chairperson of ESA Board, Mrs. Marie-Celine Zialor urged ESA to disrupt the ecosystem and do things differently and thus create a better entrepreneurial environment in the country.
